Good Time Keeping. Featuring early Omega Caliber 26.5 SOB T.2, 15 Rubis/Jewels movement. SWISS MADE. With All Stainless Steel Case, Back Cover & Crown. No band supplied, as shown. Condition: MOVEMENT - Running fine and marked OMEGA 15 Jewels and Swiss with serial number 8925XXX and 26.5 SOB T.2 under the balance wheel, manual wind mechanical, Swiss Made. Machine is very clean, has no oxidation and no flaws. The ticking and balance movement seems very strong and the accuracy is quite good for a piece of this vintage. Seems oiled and never to have been disassembled - has no tools marks on it. The setting of the time works perfectly through the pulled crown. I've checked the accuracy of the watch and the difference in 24 hours is very good, I would say less than 20 to 30 seconds (laying flat & facing up - 1 position) and, of course, it can be easily adjusted for optimal precision. Hope this is good enough for such a vintage watch. DIAL - Original UNRESTORED white silver dial with arabic numerals, all in Gold plating - Very Nice dial military style configuration. Has no cracks, no ripples, no visible flaws, no fading to the letters (see pictures). All the Markings and letters are perfect. HANDS - All hands are original and have no flaws and no deformations. They are all dark gray with a Blue chrome shade and have no oxidation. Typical Omega olive leaf hands and seconds spear shape. Very shiny. CASE - The case is Stainless Steel in ONE piece (this means it has no separate glass bezel). Case has been professionally polished to a perfect like new look and to the exact original aspect. Case has no deformations, no damaged corners. Lugs have an exact 18mm opening and are not bent by accidental deformation in any direction. Lugs are polished with crisp edges. A good quality Swiss Made solid silver Art Deco 1923 Officers Military Trech Watch..Good clean condition and good working order..Good quality movement possibly Longines?.. The solid silver fixed wire lug case has London Import hallmarks for 1923 and is signed by A.G.R who i have been advised worked with Longines during this period..The case is in good clean lightly used condition with no dents and strong lugs and hinges..The watch still has its original winder and a clean clear lens..Fitted with a clean used leather strap.. Original Military/Deco style white enamel dial with original painted numerals and paint filled blue steel hands..There is one very light stress line (only really visable under magnification) and a tiny chip to the edge by no.10 but otherwise the dial is in very good, clean original condition.. High quality swiss made 15 jewel lever movement is in good clean condition and good working order..It winds and sets smoothly,runs well and keeps good time to within a couple of minutes per day..The movement is un-signed and i have been unable to identify but it does look similar to early Longines?..(Any info appreciated)..
